The central exhibition of the 10th KAUNAS PHOTO festival will open on April 11, 2013 at M.Žilinskas Art Gallery (Nepriklausomybės sq. 12, Kaunas), and will examine the tendencies of celebration in photography. The exhibit will be open to audience until June 2, 2013.

Two more great exhibition venues of the festival are located in the heart of the old town of Kaunas – Kaunas Photography Gallery (Vilniaus str. 2) and “Meno parkas” gallery (Rotušės sq. 27).

Kaunas Photography Gallery hosts “Cardiff After Dark” by Maciej Dakowicz (UK-PL)
“Meno parkas” gallery hosts Catrine Val‘s “Feminist” (D) and “LARP” by Reinis Hofmanis (LV).

Exhibition openings in the spaces of the old town  – on 5 PM and 6 PM of April 12, 2013.

May 8 d. (Wednesday) 5 PM is marked by the opening of exhibition at the Museum of works and collections of A. Žmuidzinavičius (V.Putvinskio str. 64, Kaunas) dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the legendary Lithuanian photographer Aleksandras Macijauskas. The exhibition will be open until June 2.
